1-g-tare by Bauscher
Bauscher has developed its pioneering 1-gram tare. The china is tared exactly and down to one gram, i.e. a bar code displays its tare weight in an indestructible fashion on the crockery’s underside. At the cash desk, crockery and food are weighed jointly as usual. With the 1-gram tare, the register can now read the china’s coded tare weight down to one gram and set it off. Every additional gram is food and billed thus – to the caterer’s profit.
