Bauscher in the 21st century

Bauscher celebrates 120 years in existence. Following an investment of € 25 million the most up-to-date plate and cup production facility in Europe goes into operation. 

The first range made from Duracream, a cream-coloured porcelain body, is launched on the market as the Raffinesse collection. 

Bauscher supplies the tableware for all VIP areas in the stadiums used for the 2006 Football World Cup in Germany. Introduction of pabis, porcelain with integrated RFID technology to speed up billing processes in commercial catering. 

Bauscher relaunches its brand, showcasing the company with a new logo and claim. Improving internal production processes reduces energy consumption by a vast amount; Bauscher wins the Energy Efficiency Award as a result.  In this year Bauscher supplies the tableware to no less than four cruise ships operated by the Aida fleet (Aida-Luna), TUI-Cruises (Mein Schiff) and Costa Crociere (Costa Pacifica and Costa Luminosa).
